We took a lot of traditional style portraits wearing their team uniforms, but I wanted to get a little creative when it came to the action portraits. I really wanted to capture the speed of the sport, and black and white processing lends itself so well to showing light and contrast. For athletes, it’s a natural choice. What a fun morning this was!
